Welcome to the SACRA, Investigators and Sites Sector news.
We would like to take this opportunity to introduce our Site Representatives and open a platform for Investigators and Sites to engage with SACRA.
Dear Investigator/Site representative:
This email serves as an introduction to the Investigator's and Site Representatives that have been elected to the Executive Committee of SACRA for the 2016-2018 period.
There are 2 Investigator representatives, Dr Essack Mitha (Johannesburg), and Dr Mohammed Siddique Tayob (Middelburg), and 1 Site Representative Carine Pienaar (Bloemfontein), who they all elected to the SACRA’s Executive Committee for the 2016-2018 period.
Please visit our website for more information on your SACRA representatives (CLICK HERE).
SACRA has made efforts in the last few years to include Investigators within its structures. This is an opportunity for sites to raise and discuss issues of relevance. We encourage all sites to register with SACRA via the website (www.sacraza.com). This will ensure that the correct details are used for all future communications.
We have also uploaded the results of the Investigator/Site survey conducted in 2016.
Do visit the Investigator and Site section of the SACRA website and you can expect to find:
PDF results of the investigator survey (or link to it)
The various policies from MCC related to sites (e.g. Emergency trolley, Remuneration of trial patients).
Website – Investigator / Site blog
Site training and capacity building – various initiatives including working with Department of Health
Dispensing licence working group
Site start-up fees
A Job Advertising section on the SACRA home page for Sites to make use of. Contact SACRA Administrator for me detail on this.
If you have any contributions to make, or would like to raise concerns via SACRA, please email to Essack.mitha@gmail.com or ms@bmc.za.net or carine.pienaar@josha.co.za
Regards
E. Mitha / M.S. Tayob
