SERIES 1: Phase IIIB Trials

SACRA Unpacks Phase IIB trials: South Africa Roll-out strategy

18TH MARCH | 2021 | 18:00 – 19:30 SAST

SACRA invites you to the 18th March 2021 series of:

Conversations with SACRA on: Phase IIIB Trials.

These are impromptu series of talks that SACRA will arrange to address and give voice to current issues or as the need arises in the industry, to explain, discuss, advocate or give platform to address pertinent issues in the Clinical Research space in South Africa. Expect more of these throughout the year.

Background:

In recent days we have seen many discussions in different platforms on the vaccine rollout project.

The vaccine rollout is being run according to phase IIIB trial design. There is a gap in understanding of phase IIIB trials and the vaccine rollout strategy has created an opportunity for the industry to discuss and clarify.

Many discussions have happened including at the South African parliament, and SACRA saw it necessary for the industry stakeholders to gather and address the ambiguities with a cross section of practitioners and key stakeholders in the Clinical Research industry.

The Audience:

Clinical trials industry stakeholders include people who are already actively working in the industry and also, the South Africa community at large, interested in phase IIIB trials and the vaccine rollout.

The Panel:
