The South African Clinical Research Association (SACRA) is the leading organisation for all clinical research professionals, advancing clinical trial in South Africa.

SACRA is the umbrella body of all clinical research organisations and individuals in South Africa.

We are the organisation for:

* Advocacy for clinical trials.

* The Go-To Resource hub for clinical trials information.

* Networking and professional development.

* Stakeholder Engagement & collaboration.

It is a pleasure to introduce to you the new leadership team for the 2021-2024 term.

The new SACRA EXCO team is led by Bicky Mthombeni (Chairperson), Nyeleti Rikhotso (Vice Chair) and Leonard Lazarus (Treasurer).

The current Executive committee comprises of 14 experienced, innovative, dedicated and passionate industry experts working together for the development of the organisation.

The newly elected EXCO wishes to thank the outgoing Chair and Vice, Nicolette Scott and Teresa Scanes, together with the entire outgoing Executive Committee members, who have laid a formidable foundation for the organisation to thrive in the coming years, and to congratulate them on a job well done.

In the words of the incoming Chairperson;
